Grant program
A grant is a free ticket to TABConf 8. We are no longer providing travel assistance or lodging support, so a ticket is all we are able to offer at this point.
It is for people who genuinely cannot afford a ticket, and who are either:
- students, or
- working on a Bitcoin or Bitcoin-adjacent project
The goal is to keep the event inclusive and bring in contributors from across the Bitcoin community.
Apply
Applications are open. Apply early: the number of tickets is finite.

Sponsors
Grant money does one thing: it brings people to TABConf who could not otherwise come. Every grant sponsor is another builder in the room.
The Human Rights Foundation Bitcoin Development Fund supported TABConf 7 grants. HRF backs developers making Bitcoin more private, decentralized, and resilient, especially for activists, journalists, and civil society worldwide.
TABConf 8 grant sponsors are listed on the sponsors page. If your company wants to fund grants, email hello@tabconf.com.
